Bloomington All Day Singing on Saturday, Oct 21st 2017

Are you ready for the 2017 All Day Singing in Bloomington, Indiana? The event takes place again this year at Fairview United Methodist Church on Saturday, Oct 21st. We will sing from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a traditional dinner on the grounds at noon. Local singers are encouraged to bring a potluck dish to share. We will be singing from the 1991 revision the Sacred Harp. Loaner books will be available. A voluntary donation will be taken to help cover expenses.

Please join the event via the Facebook link and invite some friends.

Following the event, (6:00 p.m.) there will be a spaghetti social at Barb’s house across the street.

By the way, the dinner on the grounds last year was terrific and diverse—everything from curry to casseroles!

This is a great opportunity if you are new to Sacred Harp singing or are just curious about the sound of it. As an added bonus, the acoustics are fantastic! *Head over and let us know you are coming by making a comment in our Facebook event.
